We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team and help us maintain excellence in our warehouse operations.

Purpose of Position:

The Warehouse Manager is a pivotal role at Bay Baby Produce. You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Collaborating closely with the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving our success.

 Job Duties:

  • Manage warehouse employees, monitor daily work activities, and ensure production goals are met.
  • Prepare the warehouse for daily operations, overseeing setup and cleaning activities for safe and efficient operations.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to ensure compliance with traceability protocols for incoming products.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team on vendor sourcing.
  • Inspect incoming and in-progress products to ensure quality and accuracy before shipment.
  • Maintain proper inventory of resources, including raw packaging materials.
  • Order seasonal production supplies.
  • Oversee the proper creation and use of case labels and half-pallet tags per customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisors to conduct scheduled product inventories and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Train and oversee employees in the use of electronic devices for timekeeping.
  • Conduct employee training, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed with management oversight.
  • Assist in creating and implementing employee training programs to enhance production and safety.
  • Coordinate with management staff to conduct monthly employee training sessions and provide guidance.
  • Maintain effective communication between management and employees to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Uphold high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security within the facility.
  • Attend required training sessions.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Previous supervisory/managerial experience in a related industry.
  • Experience in production and quality assurance.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic office computer software.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like Famous Oracle.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
  • Ability to understand and replicate production processes and artwork processes.
  • Knowledge of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
  • Expectations of All BBP Employees:
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, policies, and procedures, including OSHA, GMP, GAP, L&I, FDA, USDA, Primus, etc.
  • Promptly report any safety concerns or incidents to promote workplace safety.
  • Attend daily or weekly team meetings to coordinate production goals.
  • Maintain regular communication with management team members.

Salary: $70,000 to $77,500 per year
